What we collect
If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, the type of subscription, the time you subscribed and the country code your request arrived with. That is the whole record.
We do not use cross site tracking, behavioural advertising, advertising cookies or ad networks. There is no display advertising on this site.
What it is used for
Sending the newsletter. Nothing else. The list is never shared, sold or rented, including to newsletter sponsors, who receive no subscriber information at all.
How long
Until you unsubscribe. The unsubscribe link is in the footer of every issue and takes effect immediately. You can also ask us to delete the record through contact.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to the data we hold about you, its correction, its deletion, restriction of its processing, and portability, and you can object to processing. Write to us through contact. If you are not satisfied, the supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Fonts and hosting
The site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's font servers when a page loads. Pages are served from a content delivery network, which processes the request in order to return the page. Neither is used by us to build a profile of you.
